Ok New Plan

After a bit of contemplation I have decided to ditch the commission idea. Commissions are now closed. (actually they were never open XD) So, if you wanted one, sorry. Maaaaybe I'll open them again later.

Anyways I don't need the money because I have a job now. (yay for regular employment) I'll have a ton of cash rolling in soon but the one catch is that between school and work I will have no time to spend it. GAH! And this relates to you because No Time = No Time For DA. So expect my already measly updates to become ridiculously scarce. I had a good run this month, so hopefully that makes up for it a little bit ...

So now that that loverly business is out of the way I shall update ye in the ways of Vibbles art:

Trades: Closed
Requests: For Friends
Commissions: Closed

Not a very productive one, am I? You know what I think from now on I will just do random-ass speedpaints all the time. They're good for stress.
EXCEPT for the kiriban which I have promised to :iconshadowdragon22: which I AM working and which I WILL finish and it will be AMAZ-I-N-G.

I have now run out of things to blab about and therefore I shall continue to enjoy my singular day off before all hell breaks loose and I have to go back to school. Ciao folks ;)

Need Some Feedback, Guys...

So I was thinking and I came up with this crazy idea...

What if I did commissions?

Would you guys be interested, if I offered them? I'm not sure how it would work, I can probably get a paypal thing set up. For digital work, I could email you the file and for traditional work I could snailmail them to you, with an added cost for shipping.

Digital would probably look something like [link] or [link] or something different if you want. (ex, a full background or another character or whatever)

For traditional I can either do pen ([link]) or pencil ([link]), or coloured pencil ([link])

Prices would vary depending on the medium, complexity and whether or not you want a full background or not. I'm hesitant to say a specific price, because it will most likely change depending on your feedback. I'm thinking about $50 Canadian (don't know what that is in any other currency) for a digital image of one character and simple background. Traditional would probably be more. ($60-70 Cdn)

So let me know what you think! :)

DA is like my super alter-ego

I've been thinking lately about lots of stuff. And I've realized how much I love this site. It's a perfect escape from real life. You get to submerse yourself in all this artwork and beauty and experience every different emotion. And at the same time, you can express emotions that can't be defined by words alone. I've been appreciating that last point especially. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a person of few words. For me, words just seem to limit feelings rather than release them. I guess I'm just trying to randomly talk about my love for art.

Lol ok this is random. I should just stop talking about and go make more art. Stick to what I'm good at lol.

And while I'm at it I shall update you all on my art status!

Art Trades: Closed for now.
Requests: Open for friends
commissions: Open for people I know in real life only.

And finally I shall announce my new kiriban!

Kiriban: 7,777

Yeah lucky number seven! The one who notes me with a screenshot gets a free request.

All right, I'll wrap this up now. Ciao! :)

Dramatic Forehead Smack

I can't explain how guilty I feel for not doing anything whatsoever on DA for the past MONTH. There's just no excuse and and I'm not going to come up with any kind of stupid one.

Well I guess I can list these reasons that might have contributed somewhat:

1. It's spring, something that is best enjoyed while not sitting on my ass at a computer all day.
2. School work. Enough said.
3. Extracurricular stuff - volunteering, badminton, friends and family and ssshtuff >_>
4. The arise of formidable distractions such as Guild Wars.
5. I'm just generally a lazy ass.

And on top of that, the scroll wheel on my mouse is broken. It scrolls up, but not down, which makes it even more annoying to use the computer. Stupid freaking mouse!
Does anyone know anyway to fix this? Cause I'm at a loss. Actually I haven't tried much of anything. See point 5 above. :)

So I'll admit I have been enjoying my total lack of online responsibility, however I will now make an effort to get on top of things. I currently have 117 deviations, 50 messages and 3 notes to deal with. Ah well. May as well get it over whith ...

So how's everyone been doing while I was gone? :)

Updates All Around

I'm back from Texas now. I was really fun and great to be out in the sun for a while. I hadn't been to the States for several years, so I forgot what it was like down there. It's surprisingly similar to Canada, except for the environmental part. I mean, we saw like 15 hummers in the 6 days we were there, compared to the 1 or 2 a year you see here in Canada. Almost every car on the road was an SUV. And I did not once see any public recycling bin anywhere we went. It was just ... disgusting.

I'm not trying to criticize any Americans out there, it's just a shock for someone like me, who was raised to be environmentally-conscious.

On that note, I'd like to point you in the direction of this excellent video: [link]
It really changed the way I think about the world.

Yeah, I'm a tree hugger. Can you tell? Lol

I'm also going to update my art status! YAY!

Trades: Closed.
Requests: For friends only.
Commissions: Closed, unless I know you in real life, in which case we'll talk about it, ok?
