I spent 2 hours staring at a blank canvas in photoshop, drawing and starting over many times. Finally I just said 'screw this' and slapped some colours down.
It's messy, it's cliché, it's simple, and it's not as well executed as I would've liked. Buuuut at least it got some things out. I've just been bursting to draw something, but nothing ever seemed right. So all of that just sort of exploded all at once and there you have it.
I have to say, this is extremely interesting. If you just "slapped some color down", you got some mad skills then because this is truly amazing. The best way to explain what I feel is by using the picture itself... I'm the figure in the middle, and I'm down on my knee, embracing the colorific explosion.

You should be proud of who you are and what you do. You don't have to mold yourself to other people's expectations.
